Public Talks & Outreach

Public Talks & Outreach

Alongside presenting my research at academic conferences, I regularly give talks and lectures for non-specialist audiences - in multiple languages, including Dutch, French, and English. My public outreach focuses on making Japanese visual and print culture accessible and engaging to a broad public, across both historical and contemporary contexts.

I give recurring introductory lectures on Japanese print culture at Karel de Grote Hogeschool (Antwerp) and KU Leuven (Leuven), and have presented thematic talks on Japanese visual culture in connection with exhibitions and cultural events. My work has been featured in the context of exhibitions organized by the Royal Museums of Art and History (Brussels), KU Leuven Libraries (Leuven), and the Musée Félicien Rops (Namur).

Selected Talk Topics
